The Attalos is a beautiful village in the municipality Messapion. The distance from Psachna is 12km. Has 508 inhabitants and is situated at an altitude of 220m. The houses are built on a green hillside right and left of the main road. On the east side, there is a ravine surrounded by large trees, where you can stop by to enjoy the natural beauty and taste delicious dishes in the traditional taverns. In the middle of the village is built the Church of John the Baptist. Byzantine churches of 1000p.Ch. some are those of St. Nicholas, which even today are the ruins and the old Church of the Virgin on the main street of the village. West is a large cave.
