Stropones

Stropones is a beautiful village, surrounded by greenery, built on the mountain of Dirfis. The village is 50km. from Chalkis and has 800 inhabitants. The route from the narrow to the Stropones considered the best in Greece takes place in pine trees, firs, and many springs. Passing from the highest point on the road (1000m.) and descending to the Aegean, to watch the way that the residents have built on the slopes and have made fruitful and productive. The production of the village in meat, chestnuts and vegetables is impressive and the products of the village are selling like hot cakes in all markets. The houses are old and traditional. Center of the village square. Here are all the shops and many tavernas, with local, delicious meat. Lamari Settlements: A picturesque village with old houses, is the last stop before Hiliadou. On the main street of the village you can visit the Folk Museum, which presented many exhibits crafted with great care by the club in the village. Hiliadou: Rapidly growing tourist resort, built on the beach. Taverns, hotels, bars, discotheques were created to meet all modern needs of visitors.
