Agios Dimitrios Beach

The beach of Agios Dimitrios is a beautiful beach in southern Evia washed by the Aegean. The water is turquoise, the sea deepens rapidly, while the bottom is very small white pebbles. On the beach near the sea there are small white pebbles, and earlier as you move away from the beach is coarse sand. The beach is small and is preferred for camping, but you will not find either restaurants or a place to stay overnight.   The access is difficult because there is a dirt road (about 2km) to the beach and also just before you reach the beach you must pass by a small river (this is done with conventional car, not necessarily with 4x4). The stream turns into a very small pond with frogs which ends when the beach begins.
