Taksiarches is a small picturesque hamlet of Municipality Kymi. In this highly developed traditional art of basketry. Remarkable is the stone church of St. George is the global village. On May 24 the City Kimi and institutions of the village honor the memory of 30 innocent citizens of the Taksiathes executed in 1944 by the occupying army.   Source: Municipality of Kymi
